2009/06/05 - Day 0 - Chorleywood to Land's End

Weather loooking cooler and damper, but good for cycling. 10:03 Chorleywood to Marylebone12:07 Paddington train to Penzance. On board and train leaving on time. The vodafone mobile broadband dongle is working, at least in the station. Lets see how it copes when moving!

Arrived at Penzance station at 17:17 and waited to get picked up by Bike Adventures and get taken to Sennen camp site, tea, cakes, assemble bike, collect route cards, bike shirts, and taken to Hotel at LE.

Had meal with 4 of the others - rhubarb crumble was disappointing and dry. Beer was Skinner's Cornish Blonde, a local wheat beer. Bed by 22:15.

  1. Fancy going all that way and the crumble being dry! Good luck my brave friends! We have to go to IKEA today to sort out my nephews new student house - that also requires bravery!!

  2. Poor crumble but delicious Cornish clotted cream made some amends!
